New Royal Caribbean Harmony of the Seas to Offer Mediterranean Cruises in 2016

Royal Caribbean cruise line introduces the new Harmony of the Seas mega-ship in May of 2016. It offers Mediterranean cruises in the summer.

One-week Western Mediterranean cruises on the new cruise ship leave from Barcelona for Palma de Mallorca (Spain), Provence (France), Florence (Italy), Rome (Italy), and Naples (Italy). Departures are available from June to October, 2016.

This new video shows highlights of the ship. Features include the Ultimate Abyss, zipline, Flowrider surfing simulator, Bionic Bar, live entertainment, carousel, many dining options, and the fastest Internet at sea.

The Royal Caribbean Harmony of the Seas' "Perfect Storm" trio of water slides are the Typhoon, Cyclone, and Supercell. Kids and adults will love them. The Ultimate Abyss is a new 10-story slide. That's right, ten stories. For more wet fun, Splashaway Bay is the aqua park for children. It has water cannons, waterfalls, and a drench bucket. The Solarium is the adults-only indoor/outdoor space. It has a pool and whirlpool.

Dining options on the Harmony of the Seas are the beautiful main dining room, Johnny Rockets, Izumi hibachi and sushi, Chef's Table, 150 Central Park with menus by chef Michael Schwartz, Coastal Kitchen, Sabor Taqueria, Windjammer, Mini Bites, Sorrento's pizza, Wonderland imaginative cuisine, and Chops Grille.
