April 11, 2007: Princess Cruises launched the new Emerald Princess ship in Rome. It will make Grand Mediterranean and Greek Isles cruises throughout the summer. Amenities onboard include an adults-only retreat.

June 15, 2006: Regent Seven Seas Cruises offers Circles of Interest on Mediterranean cruises this summer. Special interest groups in photography, food and history help guests personalize their voyage.

June 10, 2006: Oceania Cruises completed a multi-million dollar refurbishment of the Insignia cruise ship. The work was finished just in time for Mediterranean cruises on the mid-size casual luxury ship.
